NIHCATS III Contract Home

Effective January 31, 2022, non-mission critical travel can resume with approval from the Institute/Center Executive Officer, and with a strong recommendation that the travelers follow the safety guidance and test for COVID-19 prior to returning to onsite work. Any positive test result from onsite staff should be reported to OMS who will provide additional guidance.

New Announcements!
1) Please note that FAR Clause 52.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors has been added to the master contracts. Task Order Contracting Officers will not need to add the clause to individual task orders.
2) An Acquisition Plan is required for all task orders with a total value (incl. options) greater than $250,000.
3) Moving forward, CPARs will be completed at the task order level by the Task Order CO and COR.
4) LTASC III Contractors, please refer to the OALM Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) Page for more information.
5) The usage assessment for non-NIH customers to use NIHCATS III is now 1%.

The NIH Conference, Administrative, and Travel Services III Contract (NIHCATS III) is an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract utilizing firm fixed price and time and materials type task orders. The contract may be used to procure a wide range of conference support services from among 13 qualified small business contractors.

Training is Available

If you would like a presentation or training regarding the contract, please complete the Training Request Form and email it to NIHCATSIII@mail.nih.gov to schedule a time for our Program Support Team to come to your location. CLPs are available for participants after completion of the training.

Assessments: Agencies outside of the NIH will need to pay a .5% assessment to use NIHCATS III and an additional 2% for an assisted order. Assessments will be transferred between NIH and the requesting agency. Details are included in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) under the Resources tab.
